I’m honored and delighted to be a part of this extraordinary event and incredible foundation.  women with heART October 24, 2020 | 7:00-7:30 p.m. (MDT) A Youtube Live Event EXHIBIT OCTOBER 24 – NOVEMBER 14, 2020 Celebrate Pilar’s birthday and join us on YouTube Live for a virtual event that launches this year’s women with heART exhibit and sale. The event will include conversations with Pilar about the importance of the arts and humanities, the Pilar Pobil Humanities Scholarship, and interviews with this year’s humanities scholarship recipient Rita Anderson, and female exhibiting artists: Susan Conrad Risse, Kristen Mitchell, Briar West, Mary Pusey, Terry Coker Peterson, and Pilar Pobil. The online women with heART exhibit will run from October 24 – November 14, 2020, beginning with a LIVE event on the Pilar Pobil Legacy Foundation’s YouTube channel on October 24th from 7:00-7:30 p.m.(MDT.) Partial proceeds support the Pilar Pobil Humanities Scholarship at the University of Utah.The Pilar Pobil Legacy Foundation’s mission is to secure the legacy of artist Pilar Pobil. We are committed to preserving her Salt Lake City home and art collection, while continuing her contributions to the arts and humanities through educational programs and exhibitions for the community. Create your vision for 2020 with Art – Vision Board Workshop!

What are you dreaming of or visioning into as we begin this brand new decade? What lights you up as you think about that? What do you really desire in your life at this time?

I invite you to join me this January 18th from 2-6 pm at Impressions Art Studio for my Vision Board Workshop as you ease into this threshold time!

We’ll use acrylic paint, collage & mixed media materials to create your unique vision board on a 16”x20” stretched canvas. When you leave with your creation, it will be ready to hang in a prominent place in your home or workspace. That way, every time you pass it, you’ll be reminded of what you’re really wanting in your life.

Take some time to dream, meditate, spend time in nature or just begin browsing through magazines, old calendars, maps & books. When you feel an intuitive connection to an image, word or phrase, just tear it out & begin your “Vision Board Folder.” Don’t worry about ‘why’ you’re drawn to something, just trust that there’s a reason for it. Stay out of your head & instead, remain in an open & curious heart space.

As we begin to assemble our Vision Boards on the day of the event, connections will begin to form & puzzle pieces will perhaps begin to make sense. This process is about tuning inwards & listening to your soul’s longings & desires. If you don’t have time to do this ahead of the workshop, that’s fine.

Open Studio & Holiday Trunk Show

Join me & California artist Jeannine Luke as we partner to offer this juicy workshop together!
