Angels In My Studio begins on May 1st 2012. This course is designed to allow beginner and seasoned artists alike to connect more deeply with the angelic realm through their creative practice.

As you can see, Angels In My Studio is much more than “just” a course in art technique (though it certainly *is* that). This course is intended for those that are truly open to deepening their connection with the unseen.
Each in-depth video lesson will provide you with both the tools for creating a variety of mixed-media art from a place of connection to the intuitive realm and grounded technical skills in depicting angels, guides, and spirit. Over the course of the 5-months we spend together you will deepen your skills and abilities in allowing your artwork to unfold from a place of conscious connection to spirit.
“Angels In My Studio” lessons will be delivered right on this site each month through embedded and downloadable video, audio, and written word. The first lesson will be released on May 1st. You will be able to download and keep all of the materials forever — and the community forums will stay open through December 31, 2012. So you can take your time and enjoy the journey.

Yeah! I’ll be back at the “Mendonca Building Courtyard”-1126 Smith St. Honolulu 96817,(Chinatown)for the 1st Friday Art Event again next month, 3/2/12 from 5-10pm. The Courtyard is located off Maunakea AND Smith St. (2 entrances), near Hotel St. Look carefully, as it’s an INTERIOR Courtyard, & easy to miss unless you look in. There are also loft galleries & a Vintage Shop upstairs, so look for those signs,too. In addition, Mark’s Garage will be hosting a fun “Biergarten,” including live music, food & of course, BEER at the end, IN the courtyard area. I’ll be there again with my art, prints, jewelry & more. I will be having another give-away drawing, so be sure to stop by & drop your business card in my box & I’ll let you know if you’ve won. February’s winner was Sarah Jo from San Francisco! Hi, everybody, & thanks for checking in on me! Last Friday night (1st Friday Art Event in Honolulu’s Chinatown District) was just fantastic! I’ve posted a couple of photos of my “booth” which was in “Chinatown Courtyard,” off Maunakea St. It’s a lovely courtyard setting, with beautiful exposed brick walls to hang my paintings, with room for a table for jewelry & prints. I met so many wonderful people there & got giddy in the creative environment. Many people stopped to look, compliment or purchase my wares. It was an artsy crowd and we had live flamenco music playing nearby.
I definitely plan to be there again, as it was a huge success & a really fun venue! I’ll keep you posted…

Happy MLK Holiday, everyone! On the wings of the courageous Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I, too, would like to say: “I have a dream…” Do you have a dream?? I’ll bet you do. Several years ago, while living in a new city (suburb, really) with my husband and two preschool children, a seed was planted in me. I had no family or friends in this new place, so I spent a lot of time by myself or in the company of the children. I was no longer working as an International Flight Attendant, as I had done for many years. Instead I had chosen, with the support of my husband, to stay home and raise the kids. Firstly, I must say, I’m really happy with that choice. But some of those days, as I’m sure many stay-at-home parents will agree with me on, were extremely challenging. But, gradually, things began to change. I believe that every cloud does, indeed, have a silver lining. And often, behind that cloud, waiting in that silver lining, is an angel. Now, my angels come in many forms. Sometimes, they appear in dreams or thoughts; sometimes in image, word or prayer. But, I must say that, at least for me, my favorite angels appear in human form. I can cite a number of examples, but I’m certain that if you think about it for a moment, you will know exactly what I’m talking about. Which brings me to my point. I believe in DREAMS, just as Dr. Martin Luther King did. And, I believe in ANGELS. And this is why I am so excited to announce, that I will be teaching in an on-line course, beginning in May, called “ANGELS IN MY STUDIO,” led by Sheri Ann Ponzi! We will be joined by a number of other amazing artists & teachers, as well.
So, you see, I believe in myself & my dreams, I believe in the messages received from angels & I believe in YOU! Just look at me for an example. I am now a working artist, & fulfilling yet another dream: teaching an on-line spiritual & creative workshop with an incredible group of artists & teachers. Believe me, if I can do it, you can do it! We often hear & even feel the ‘stress’ of the so-called “Holiday Season.” That window of time that falls between Thanksgiving (in the US) & New Year’s Day. This is a season that most of us (especially children)look forward to as the glorious celebration at the end of 1 year & the anticipation of a fresh start to a new year. There are parties, events & the like for any number of occasions that fall into this time frame. It sounds just wonderful & fun, until we are actually in the midst of it.Parties to attend, gifts to purchase, meals to prepare, in-laws, blood relatives, bosses to entertain & be entertained by.
So why do so many of us end up feeling drained, exhausted, resentful & overwhelmed during this most joyous time of year? I’m sure that we all have different reasons, triggers, “history” & the like that bring us to a place of
dissatisfaction & anxiety.
Sooooo….. I, as Glitter Gypsy, am here to propose a couple of solutions to all of this.
1. Keep things simple & focus on relationships & fun, rather than winning “Moistest Turkey of the Year award.”
2. Remember to take care of yourself 1st, so that you have more of the “Fun You” to share, which is really what people are craving now (meaningful relationships.)
3. ***REASON: TO CELEBRATE & BE A PART OF THE OPENING OF A NEW VORTEX ON VERY SACRED LAND ON 11/11/11. A VERY WELL KNOWN, RESPECTED & GIFTED KAHUNA WILL LEAD OUR ‘FIREPIT MEDICINE CIRCLE’ TO OPEN A NEW VORTEX THAT WILL LEAD US INTO A NEW PARADIGM ON MOTHER EARTH. SHE HAS BEEN INSTRUCTED BY HER ANCESTORS (NATIVES OF THIS SACRED LAND FOR MANY GENERATIONS) TO OPEN THIS PARTICULAR VORTEX TO USHER IN THE ‘NEW TIMES.’
